Matalan M Party Launch Spot On Entertainment Stockport

Ruby Diamond as Amy Whinehouse, Velody and dance partner Keith, Helen Rae as seen on stage with Jimmy Cricket, Simon the sleight of hand Magician accompanied by balloon modeller Sonia, Caricaturists John Gallagher and Spencer May. Not to mention the inimitable Lucky the Butler!

Special appearance by Blackpool's best - loved Showgirl, Anita Ray and an amazing acoustic set from Lisa Marie Glover - international folk singer / guitarist / songwriter straight from the Oxford Folk Festival.

A special thanks to Barnaby, Marcus, Samantha and Ian for keeping the crowds supplied with leaflets and cards and offering support to the entertainers.
Finally - a BIG thankyou to M Party Sales Manager Dominic Philips from Matalan - without his team and the hours of extra effort outside office hours we would never have been able to have put this fantastic day together at such short notice.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy a couple of years back when myself and 'the Queen' Elizabeth Richards were invited by Jimmy to enjoy the Cliff The Musical in London's West End. Bob Lucas as Billy Connolly - another new friend it was a pleasure to meet. He has nothing to fear from his impersonation of the great Billy Connolly - and if it's stand-up comedy with a touch of 'Billy' this Big Yin will have you in stitches all night long.
Unfortunately there's a slight technical hitch with the video but I'm hoping the data can be extracted from the damaged drive very soon. I have to blame the passing airborne parachutist for that - don't ask!
